Personalized Nutrition Coaching for Whole Body Wellness

Amy Denson is a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, and recently finished her certification as a Restorative Wellness Practitioner. Drawing on her own first-hand experience with Hashimoto's Disease, Amy is passionate about helping others find holistic and sustainable solutions for their health and longevity.

In 2016, Amy went from an active former professional athlete to barely making it through each day. With a stressful job, and health issues she struggled to find answers for in the traditional medical community, Amy determined that she would be an advocate for herself in order to return to the life of energy, engagement, and joy she knew before. After she was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Disease and spent years learning more about the power of food to heal, she also saw how many women struggle with thyroid issues and stress related health problems, and knew her experience could help so many others. Out of her hard work, constant learning, trial and error, and determination to flourish, Amy Rae Nutrition Coaching was born.

Amy is a former Division I basketball player at Arizona State University (B.A. Communications), and spent eight years playing professional basketball in five different countries. When her playing days came to an end, Amy coached Women’s Basketball at Portland State University (M.Ed, Education Leadership & Policy) before moving into a career as a health coach.

When she’s not coaching others, you can find her out in nature with her husband and her dogs, chasing her nieces and nephews, or planning her next travel adventure.
